Sebastian Vettel again ensured the qualification for himself, his team mate Mark Webber was the second. The start was the best for Sebastian Vettel, who didn't let anyone overtake him in the race, only the tire changes mixed the standings in the first three places. The race was boring and uneventful. F.Alonso of Ferrari managed to wedge himself between the Red Bull Racing cars.
A contact between M.Schumacher and Petrov - a front wing torn away placing M.Schumacher well to the rear. All 24 drivers finished, which has been the first time when nobody retired.
